Did you see the awesome tribute to Charles Durning during the National Memorial Day Concert Sunday night? Mr. Durning participated in the event for many years, paying tribute to those men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. America has lost a national treasure in an unimaginable tragedy. Retired Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, whose amazing story was told in his autobiography “American Sniper: The Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History,” was shot and killed yesterday at a shooting range in Texas. Details are sketchy at this time, but the alleged shooter is in custody, and is reportedly a former USMC corporal that Chris was helping to overcome his struggles with PTSD. Facebook Censoring Posts?

In apparent “censorship” to protect the POTUS over his handling of Benghazi, Facebook deleted this photo posted by our friends over at Special Operations Speaks, and sent them a note saying they had violated some unspecified FB rule. SOS re-posted the photo, and FB responded by suspending their account for 24 hrs.

Ernest Borgnine Will Be Missed

Actor Ernest Borgnine died last week at age 95. Although he won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and many other awards, he was probably best known for his portrayal of Commander McHale, a PT boat commander, in the TV series “McHale’s Navy” from 1962-1966. (I can remember watching that show!)
