AP – As of Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at least 566 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan as a result of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to the Defense Department. Please join us in asking President Bush to pardon Border Patrol Agents
Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, whose prosecution and conviction is a
tremendous injustice. These brave men were upholding their duty to protect
our borders. The illegal they were convicted of shooting “in violation of
his civil rights” was attempting to smuggle roughly 750 lbs of marijuana
