Please join us in asking President Bush to pardon Border Patrol Agents
Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, whose prosecution and conviction is a
tremendous injustice. These brave men were upholding their duty to protect
our borders. The illegal they were convicted of shooting “in violation of
his civil rights” was attempting to smuggle roughly 750 lbs of marijuana
into the U.S. that day. He was later convicted of two additional smuggling
attempts, yet received a shorter sentence than the agents who tried to stop him!
