Wreath-Laying Ceremonies Friday and Saturday

The World’s Longest Christmas Parade reaches Washington, DC, on Friday, where Wreaths Across America will hold a ceremony Friday afternoon at the Pentagon Memorial honoring the victims of 9/11. On Saturday morning, Wreaths Across America and volunteers will place more than 25,000 Christmas wreaths to decorate graves of America’s veterans at Arlington National Cemetery. If you’d like to join them to help place the wreaths, be at Arlington before 8:00 a.m. The wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns will take place Saturday at noon, as will ceremonies at state and national veterans cemeteries across the country.
