Sarah Palin at Fort Hood Tonight

Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will sign copies of her memoir, Going Rogue, from 7 to 10 tonight (Friday, December 4) for members of the military and their families at Fort Hood.

Base officials recommend people arrive early at the Clear Creek PX. The book-signing is open only to people showing military ID cards.

The former Alaska governor wrote on her Facebook page that she will donate her royalties from the book sales during the stop at Fort Hood to the families and the victims of the Nov. 5 mass shooting on post that left 13 dead and dozens injured.

As a Blue Star mother with a son serving in the military, Palin understands the concerns of military families, and has been a staunch supporter of our military. We like this woman, and we look forward to more good things from her.
