US soldier held in new Texas base 'terror plot'<br /> (AFP)<br />

AFP - Texas police have arrested a US soldier on suspicion of planning a “terror plot” against Fort Hood, the military base where a fellow serviceman went on a deadly shooting rampage in 2009.
